Four Oaks Men’s Ministry

Men’s Ministry fulfills three key functions in our church: in-depth study of the Scriptures, corporate events to foster community among men inside and outside the church, and hands-on projects to meet physical needs of our church and city. Pastor Scott Stake oversees our Men’s Ministry.

Men’s Retreat: “Unhurried: Walking with Jesus”

Friday-Saturday, Apr 26-27, 2024 at Camp Weed & Cerveny Conference Center, in Live Oak, FL

 THEME

God places a high calling on us as men to lead courageously, love sacrificially, and work faithfully. Yet, He also invites us to rest, refreshment, and enjoyment. So, how do we do both? In this world of increasing pressure and never-ending to-do lists, slowing down to walk with Jesus seems impossible yet increasingly necessary! In our sessions, we will explore the challenges of our hurried culture and the invitations of our Savior to work and rest with Him.

Handyman Team

Our desire is to share the love of Christ in a tangible way by serving those with physical needs due to personal limitations and/or financial hardship.  This ministry is focused on providing men with the opportunity to fellowship while performing acts of service like minor home repairs, moving, lawn care, tree and debris removal, and other physical service activities.

To serve on this team, contact Adam Lehmann or submit the Handyman Skills Survey.
