GriefShare
GriefShare is a ministry designed to provide support to anyone who is grieving the death of a loved one—a spouse, child, family member, or friend. GriefShare small groups are led by caring people at Four Oaks who have experienced grief and want to help you through the difficult days ahead. We don’t want you to experience grief alone!
Frequently Asked Questions

GriefShare is a thirteen-week biblical, Christ-centered curriculum that focuses on grief topics associated with the death of a loved one. Each session begins with a video, featuring nationally respected grief experts and real-life stories of people, followed by small group discussion facilitated by our trained, experienced leaders. All participants also receive a workbook called Your Journey from Mourning to Joy that provides an opportunity for individual study and application of the concepts introduced in the video during the week.

restore
RESTORE is a ministry that helps people live and love in a broken world. Each week, you will see how God reframes and redeems your story as you bring your story honestly before God and those in your small group. You will also learn to grow in your relationship with God through abiding in His Word, in prayer, and in community.
Frequently Asked Questions
-
RESTORE is for everyone! Do you want to grow as a disciple? Do you want to walk more closely with God? Are you feeling overwhelmed with life? Are you struggling with doubt, confusion, loneliness, or discouragement? Given God’s powerful and pursuing love, there is no struggle, sin, or suffering too great to bring to RESTORE. All are welcome to experience God’s amazing love through His Word and community.
-
RESTORE starts with everyone sharing their stories in their small group and then slowly helps people see & experience God’s story through weekly teaching, reading, and small group discussion.
The format includes a large-group teaching/testimony session for 30 minutes, followed by small group discussion for 80-90 minutes. There is also some weekly reading & journaling questions based on the book Restoration Story by Robert Cheong and a passage of Scripture.Women and men will be in different small groups. Each group has up to 7 people, including 2 co-leaders and 5 participants. RESTORE has an orientation, then launches with a “story weekend” when everyone shares their stories with their small group (based on chapters 1-2), followed by additional Monday night meetings (usually covering one chapter each week).
-
Our next round of RESTORE will be in FALL 2025. We’ll gather on Monday nights (6:45-8:50pm) for 10 weeks, beginning with an orientation and concluding with a celebration. We also have a story weekend on a Saturday. Large group is held in Gallery 14, and small groups meet in classrooms throughout the building.
