CARE MINISTRY AT FOUR OAKS KILLEARN
Caring for the physical, emotional, relational, and spiritual needs of our church and community through a number of different ministries listed below.
GriefShare is a ministry designed to provide support to anyone who is grieving the death of a loved one—a spouse, child, family member, or friend. GriefShare small groups are led by caring people at Four Oaks who have experienced grief and want to help you through the difficult days ahead. We don’t want you to experience grief alone!

GriefShare is a fourteen-week biblical, Christ-centered curriculum that focuses on grief topics associated with the deaths of loved ones.
Sessions include small group discussion led by experienced leaders, and videos with nationally respected grief experts and people sharing real-life stories.
Participants receive a workbook called Your Journey from Mourning to Joy that provides an opportunity for individual study and application of the concepts introduced in the video during the week. There’s also a special session called Surviving the Holidays that will help you navigate these seasons that are especially challenging when missing your deceased loved one.

Our Fall 2026 GriefShare group meets weekly from September 8th—December 8th, on Tuesdays from 6:30-8:30 PM.
Registration is $50 and covers the books, supplies, childcare and our on-site security. Partial scholarships are available by request.

Gospel
Growth Groups
Gospel Growth Groups is a care ministry that helps people better understand, apply, and live out the gospel each day. Each week, you will enjoy a mix of large-group time, small-group discussion led by trained mentors (men & women separate), and some weekly reading & homework (just a little bit!) to help you grow in your relationship with God.

Gospel Growth Groups are open to anyone and is especially helpful for those who are new to the faith or new to the church and are wanting to take the next step in community at Four Oaks.

Each week, you will enjoy a mix of large-group time & small-group discussion (separate men & women’s groups), and some weekly reading & homework (just a little bit!) to help you grow in your relationship with God.

We will meet for 13 weeks on Tuesday nights from 6:30-8:30pm, beginning September 8th and ending December 8th (no meeting on November 24th due to Thanksgiving).

re|engage
Re|engage is a marriage enrichment program that helps couples grow in their relationship with God and one another through large-group testimonies, small group interaction led by mentor couples, and weekly homework. Marriages in any condition can benefit, whether you are still getting to know one another as a newlywed, have a good marriage and want to grow closer together, are struggling to get along, or are in dire need of rescue & redemption.

The format includes a large-group testimony session for 15 minutes, followed by small group discussion for 80-90 minutes. Small groups include up to 5 participant couples (usually in a similar station of life) and 1 mentor couple. Re|engage meets 13 Tuesday nights from 6:30-8:30pm. Childcare is available for all meetings.

God’s Girls
A Ministry for Single Moms
God’s Girls is a ministry designed to provide support to single moms within our Four Oaks family. We understand that these women have unique roles, responsibilities and challenges. Our desire is to come alongside them and provide care and encouragement in the Lord.

God’s Girls gathers bi-monthly on a Sunday at 11 AM, to enjoy breakfast and community with other single moms who can relate to and pray for one another. It’s also a connection point with our Care Ministries Coordinator so the church can be mobilized for care.

The Evergreens
A Ministry for Widows
The Evergreens is a ministry that aims to fulfill James 1:27 by caring for the widows within our Four Oaks family. These women also have unique roles, responsibilities and challenges. This group provides community and a connection point with our Care Ministries Coordinator so the church can be mobilized for care.
